Preview a File

To preview a file, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your account using your Username and Password.
  2. Navigate to the file you want to preview. 
  3. Click on the file name to open the preview screen. 
    We support previews for the following file types: doc(x), xls(x), ppt(x), pdf, html, odt, rtf, txt, bmp, gif, jpg, png, tif
    These formats are also supported with limited functionality through our old preview system: csv, svg, mov, mp4, stl, obj, fbx, dae, gltf, glb
Preview Options:

  • Toggle Sidebar: Open left sidebar to view multiple pages in the file.
    • Annotations & Outlines are coming soon
  • Find in Document: Find a specific word or phrase in the document.
    • Basic: Click the magnifying glass button.
    • Advanced: Click the 3 dot icon to access the advanced options.
      • This opens in the right sidebar area.
      • Available options for advanced searching:
        • Case Sensitive - Matches on case only ("And" would not be a match for "and").
        • Whole Word - The entire word must match ("an" would not be a match for "and").
        • Wildcard - Use an asterisk to represent unknown characters ("a*d" matches "and", "almond").
  • Zoom: Use the plus and minus buttons to zoom in and out, or click the drop down arrow for more options.
    • Fit to page: Automatic resize to fit the page length on your screen (default).
    • Fit to width: Automatic resize to fit the page width on your screen.
    • Marquee Zoom: Changes the mouse behavior to zoom in centered on your click.
    • Hand Tool: Changes the mouse behavior to pan.
      • Click the mouse icon or press the Escape key to change the mouse back to normal.
  • Full screen: Switch to Presentation / Full screen mode.
    • To exit, press the Escape key or click the 3 dot icon and select Exit full screen.
  • Share: Share file with user or create a link.
  • Download PDF: There are multiple ways to download the original, but only one way to download as a PDF.

  • Print Preview: Sends the file to your printer.

  • Preview Settings:
    • Page Transition: Continuous or Page by page
    • Layout: Single, Double, or Cover
    • Rotate: Clockwise and Counter-clockwise
